Nov 29, 2024 · A Canberra solar supplier has become the ACT''s exclusive distributor for cutting-edge Australian-engineered solar technology that can generate up to almost a third more
According to the company’s statement, the new Canberra manufacturing facility will produce the 200+ satellites that will form the constellation providing the ATM services, with the operating constellation launched during 2023.
Australian space services company has announced the opening of its new manufacturing facility in the centre of Canberra. Located at the UNSW Canberra City campus, the new facility will enable the development of the largest ever Australian manufactured space payload, weighing 300kg, which is confirmed for launch this year with SpaceX from Florida.
The ACT is home to mini satellite designer and manufacturer Skykraft. Skykraft’s satellite manufacturing facility in Canberra is the centre for the design, build and operation of more than 200 satellites. These satellites will make up the constellation providing space-based Air Traffic Management (ATM) services, commencing operations in 2025.
