Both Solis and GoodWe offer inverters that integrate seamlessly with the BYD Battery-Box, making them reliable choices for a wide range of applications. For residential energy storage systems, the BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS series is compatible with the GoodWe ES-20 and SBP-20 series, as well as the Solis S5-EH1P 3K to 6K range.
By selecting the right combination of BYD Battery-Box and a compatible Solis or GoodWe inverter, installers can deliver efficient and reliable solar energy storage systems, tailored for both residential and commercial environments. This results in sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions for your customers.
We are happy to be able to fulfill this demand with our full suite for residential storage of the Battery-Box HVE in combination with the Power-Box inverters", said Jiang Feng, Residential Energy Storage System Director of BYD Energy Storage.
Eleven boards were discovered. Four are used in the inverter area, the other ones in the OBC/DC-DC. Main component identification reveals that BYD still relies on foreign providers for most of the electronic components (led by Texas Instruments).
The BYD 8-in-1 powertrain includes the BMS, VCU, inverter, PDU, OBC-DC/DC merged into one unit, and the gearbox/e-motor in another. The teardown was performed on all devices apart from the gearbox and e-motor.
